IRS

After struggling with a computer program to do my taxes, determined not to spend $500 to pay someone to do them for me, I ended up at the IRS office. I have found the workers there to be very helpful, patient, understanding...real people!

I recommend that if you are not sure of what to do, or have any questions at all, trot on down there to the Riverhead office. I'm sure you'll be glad you did!

only it's really not funny when it takes your credit card info, then won't print our return...or efile...and the telephone tech support people can't help you...the girl even admitted to never using the program herself...she recommended I go to IRS!

sigh...

I go there to file our truck taxes. They really are quite nice and helpful. Totally blowing all stereotypes :0

Yup. I agree. When I was first dealing with my father's tax issues, I just brought everything to them, and they helped me sort out and detangle it all...step by step. It took several trips, but they didn't seem to mind.
